The Megas Wolf, although unknown to most on Zi, was piloted by the most powerful man in existence long ago. Years before the cataclysm of Zi, a century before the likes of Digard, who had not even dreamt of their Bio-Zoid monstrosities, and the Sky People of Sora City, who frequently leapt to their death in search of the ground, there was a general by the name of Matthias Stormius. He commanded the armies of an alliance of sea-fairing cities along the coast of the central continent. Each of these cities expanded to create one Mega-City that stretched for hundreds of miles, with hundreds of millions of inhabitants. They were the rivals of the Sky People, controlling trade all over Zi, and acting as the "Global Police" for the "barbaric lands" that lay inward. From these barbaric lands, the ancestors of Digard come.
It is the object of myth that General Stormius, raising an army greater than any centuries before him in the age of Zenevas and Helic, set to rid Zi of the enemies inland. Piloting his Megas Wolf, he ventured into the lands within, followed by his many trusting generals and armies of Zoids ranging in the hundred thousands. His Wolf carried but one main weapon, known as the Xiphos Megalos, which when ignited with a green flame, would pierce any metal, and reflected beam attacks. (It was made of the material that would predate Bio-armor, and Marasume Liger's sword.) With this weapon, and superior speed and agility, Stormius led his armies to victory, conquering hundreds of thousands of miles of Zi, before being defeated by what some say was the first Bio-Zoid. It is said that Stormius's army met its match while fighting this mysterious enemy, and was closely defeated after his army was worn thin. Stormius died a heroic death, and the Megas Wolf was lost. Years later, Zi would fall to a cataclysmic event, and Digard would then rise to the top.
Also, the main purpose of this custom was to give the wolf a little more of a "realistic" wolf feel. I didn't like the zoid being so low to the ground (infact, now I hate all four legged zoids, especially the saix, cuz they are so freakin short andhave big feet.) Anyways, hope you like it. Tell me what you think.
